Hi my name is Mona Weathers and I use the online pen name monawea. I am the author of several blogs including this one. I started blogging in 2006 and haven’t seemed to be able to quit. Blogging has provided an outlet for me as well as a way for me to make an extra income for my family.
I am a mother and a wife, a horse lover, debt slave and a Internet geek. I started building websites way back when you had to know fluent html, took a break from building websites and then came back when the web became more user friendly. Blogs have been wonderful to work with. Wordpress makes building interactive websites very simple.
Most of what I have learned about websites and blogs was self taught. For the most part I enjoy the challenge of learning technical things. I once fixed my mothers type-writer at the age of 12. That may not seem amazing to some but my mother thought I was a genius because she was ready to take it to a repair man. I am not a genius by any means but I like to make people think I am by fixing type-writers . Now that it’s hard to find type-writers I have had to move on to building websites and such ;).
