When I first decided to attempted to become the “Queen” of social network marketing I didn’t really know how I was going to determine whether I succeeded or not. The idea of the Queen of Social Network Marketing was to see if social sites could be an effective marketing tool. With a few rules and guidelines set in place for myself I ventured to find out if it could be possible.
I don’t know if I have yet succeeded but I do know that have 21,400 search results (google search results) to my online pen name monawea. Some of the search results are probably not related to social networks but the majority are. I started this branding project around October of 2007 and so far I am pleased with the results since I haven’t really work at it very much.
The social network marketing rules and guidelines:
- Use a unique user name (monawea) on all social networks.
- Use the same photo/avatar on every network.
- Use every respectful opportunity available to promote my websites.
- Always contribute useful relevant information to social networks.
- Contribute a little bit of personal info with a little bit of business – good balance.
- Use a social network status manager (like HelloTxt or Ping.fm)
The result of the project thus far.
- 21,400 links to monawea.
- мебелиSocial networks are bringing a large portion of traffic to iwebis.
It may be that I have a long way to go before I will be officially considered the “Queen” but I am pleased with the results so far.
Just a side note. When HerProBlog.COM was in the pre-launch advertising stage I only used social media as a marketing tool. The first day of official launch we received over 900 page views.

It just shows you.. sometimes you CAN achieve a lot, simply by puting in a LITTLE bit of effort! That´s great that it hasn´t taken you too much time to get to the stage you´re at now! At least you can see that it´s working as well.. there´s nothing worse than puting time and effort into something and not knowing if it´s effective or not! Hope you become Queen soon!

I’m still trying to figure out how best to make use of social networking sites to generate large amount of traffic.
I do have a rough idea…but still not a full understanding to really capitalise on this trend.

Netorking it the conection of two or more computer two gether to share infomation. Good to install a network to protect you computer like a firewall like router are good for you computer. Your friends can come over and plug into your network shar you conection with them or you can share you internet with other computer in the house. Why would you upgrade if older network system.
I wonder to make a lot of traffic through social marketing, but am short of ideas any body can please help me out

That is a pretty high number of google results for ya. I have a unique name myself that I use on the forums I visit and for that I have about 21,000 google results as well. Although I am not big on social networking, congrats to you!

I’m glad to see if someone else was exploring the use of social networks as a real means to getting traffic and sales and glad to know that it actually works. You hear so much from people who talk about how it should work, but sometimes get the feeling they are really making it work for them.
