I’m Having Difficulty Getting Back Into the Blogging Groove

I don’t know if you are like me but sometimes it is difficult for me to not get consumed by the the internet. I think that may be why it is difficult for me to reenter the internet world once I have been away for a while.

For the past month I have been trying to get back into the blogging groove. For some reason it’s been very difficult. Yes, my life is a bit busier but that can’t be the only reason I have been so disconnected.

So, basically what I am trying to say is that I am trying very hard to get back into the blogging groove and hope you will be patient with me.

I am working on an article about Joomla. I am hoping to have it published this week.

I kinda get in a “what should I blog about?” rut sometimes, but more often than not, the bigger problem is that my analog world makes it hard to dedicate much time to writing quality posts. And I try hard to avoid publishing fluff posts just to have some new content out on my blog.

I am actually having the SAME problem & have had it for the past 2 months. I know EXACTLY how you feel! I still haven’t been able to get back into it. I’m just breaking now til 2009 to see if I can get back into it then.

Thanks for stopping by Rob. I am glad to hear I am not the only one who struggles. I feel the same way about fluff posts which also explains why I haven’t posted anything in a while. I didn’t want to just post for posting sake.

I request you both not to disconnect for a long while. I don’t know why does it happen but can only suggest to be with internet inspite of being busy.

He who has seen present things has seen all, both everything which has taken place from all eternity and everything which will be for time without end; for all things are of one kin and of one form.

I have been trying to get back into blogging too but every time I sit down to get started I think of something else I need to buy or look up and get distracted. I am hoping I will improve after the Holidays.

@Charnita I guess there are a lot of us dealing with the same issue. Hopefully 2009 will be better for us.

@Gadgets- I think your right. I need to not be apart for more than a day or two.

@ science for kids – I think the Holidays cause a lot of people to slow down.

@Gerry – Not sure what you are trying to say but thanks for stopping by.

Hard getting INTO the blogging groove? I didn´t MAKE IT into the groove!!! I started my blog one night and deleted it the next morning.. the next time I tried, it lasted a while longer, but only an extra day… so all in all my blogging started out as a complete and utter failure!!!!

Don’t worry it happens to the best of us at some point. Just keep typing and your groove will come back!

@Hans – you shouldn’t give up. Maybe you need to start over with another topic.

@Link Building- Thanks for the encouragement! I will keep typing.

To be with blogging groove is generally a way to get in touch with internet world. But at some point, its not possible, as even i too find myself bit busier with my family and my friends. So i have left blogging 5months ago. Still thinking to get back or not..? its question mark for me. But Sure with my new work of website design, i will be soon with all this… thanks for your write ups.

If you have – you’re not alone. Last week I chatted with a lot of bloggers who are either feeling disillusioned, uninspired, uncreative or just plain bored with their blogs.
