I have been working on becoming as unproductive as possible so I have now found the solution. Find as many microblogging sites as possible and hang out there all day ;o).
Actually as you may or may not already know, I am working towards becoming the “Queen of Social Network Marketing“. I have been working on this for some time now and I can’t say for certain if it’s working. I am not sure when I will consider my efforts successful but I have been successful at joining a lot of networks.
I suppose when others start calling me the “Queen of SNM” I will have reached my goal ;o).
So if you are into microblogging and like to listen to music, Blip.fm might be a great addition to your distraction list.
Blip.fm offers all the great things social microblogging sites such as twitter, plurk, and jaiku but with the added feature of listening and sharing music. You can friend people with similar music interests and have their music added to your DJ list.
There a few things about Blip.fm that are a little fuzzy to me but overall this social music sharing microblogging platform is pretty cool.

This is a great suggestion! I am always looking for new music that follows along my prefered tastes of existing bands. There are lots of sites out there, but many just give out the same old bands. This sounds like a good place to check out for my need for new tunes.

Interesting site, thanks for posting. Isn’t it the same as Last.fm, what’s the difference? I have been using last.fm for quite a while but I get bored with it…

@ Senior care giving Blip.fm is much different than Last.fm. I tried last.fm for a while to but it’s not as good as blip.fm

I’m using Blip.fm for about a week and, as much as I like and use Twitter and Facebook, this is WAY more fun. I’m a lifetime music addict and this fills the bill. What a great way to share and communicate about one of the most important and meaningful creations in life…. our music.
It’s not just the tunes… but the communication around meaning of lyrics, artists lives, history and cultural implications that makes this really fun.

Microblogging is so addictive. I like to Twitter everyday with my friends and talk about just anything. I also have some blogs but i update frequently my Twitter more than my Wordpress blog.
