Well, I was supposed to be a guest on the On The HomeStretch internet radio broadcast but it never happened. It’s kind of funny actually.
I was supposed to be on the 10:45 slot and was told that I would be called at about 10:40. So I am sitting there waiting, and waiting. 10:45 comes around and I am thinking, “well maybe they are just running behind today”. So, I wait some more and then it’s 10:55 and I am thinking there must be something wrong.
I thought to myself “Did I pay the phone bill?”. All kinds of things went through my head including, “Did I even give them my phone number?”, and “Maybe they decided they did want me on the show.”
After checking my email, I realized what had happened. I did give them my phone number but some how the wrong phone number was recorded or I gave them the wrong number. So, when 10:40 rolled around they did try to call me but it was the wrong number ;o). Is that funny or what?
I have to be honest, I was really looking forward to my first radio experience being behind me. But, I guess that is not how it was supposed to happen. I do have another opportunity though - next week same time, same place. I really appreciate Debbie giving me another chance to make my radio appearance.
If you are interested in hearing the show I never showed up to -you might find it humors. My name was mentioned a few times ;o) .
Consider it your pre on air dress rehearsal! Now you know exactly what to expect and you can confidently pick up the receiver and blow us away with your deep nasal tones and breathy falsetto!

Great that they will do the interview again next week. Yes your name did get mentioned a few times.. but…think of it as free publicity as HerProBlog.COM shows up in the archive notes for all to see.
