As you may have already noticed, I haven’t been posting very much on iwebis. This is largely due to the fact that I have been very busy working on my new project - HerProBlog.COM. I am very excited about the progress being made. I would have liked to launch the site last month but things took a bit longer than expected. It’s very important that all things are in place before launch so I am determined not to launch until everything is ready.
I am not the only one that has been working very hard on this project. Several months ago I asked a friend to join in this venture. After reading a blog post on the importance of outsourcing I realized that I had to bring in help for this project. It’s been great working with this person so far and I know she will continue to be a very useful resource.
So you wanna know who this person is? Well, she is a single parent to one teenage son. She lives in Australia and loves to tell you the current weather conditions in her town, which I find very interesting because they are so different from the weather in my town in California. She is an entrepreneur with a heart of gold and often goes by her online pen name egold. Are you getting sick of the teasing yet? Ok, fine!
Gaida Rodgers is HerProBlog.COM’s Contributing Editor. She has been helping me get HerProBlog.COM ready for launch and I am not exactly sure what I would have done without her.
Gaida and I met a couple of years ago on a work-at-home moms forum called Moms Opportunity Network Forum. This forum was one of my own projects that didn’t work out and because of a massive amount of spam that I couldn’t keep up with. I ended up having to close the forum but Gaida and I have kept in touch ever since.
When I decided that I couldn’t continue with the HerProBlog.COM project alone, the first person I thought of to help me was Gaida. Gaida said yes and here we are today. Gaida will be helping me edit with publishing material as well as a number of other odds and ends.

We are only weeks away from official launch of HerProBlog.COM. HerProBlog.COM already has close to 100 email subscribers and over 200 Twitter followers. The site also has a PR 3 and we are now in the 700,000 in Alexa. This all has happened during pre-launch! It is expected that with the marketing methods I have been using as well as the methods planned for our official launch, HerProBlog.COM will take off very quickly.

It sound like you have a great project in the works! It is too bad that whenever someone tries to create a WAH site for moms so they can be with their kids it gets filled with junk. There are real opportunities out there and finding them can be a trick. Once you do though it is a wonderful feeling to earn money and be with your kids while they are home for the summer.
