Thanks for commenting. I think many people view social networking the way you do. I also think that many people have not used social networking to it's fullest or with any sort of strategy. It is true there is a lot of hype surrounding social networks but I have only seen a few people that are actually tapping into it's usefulness in marketing. I do agree with you about content though. Even if you are successful at building traffic through social networks, people won't come back unless they find rich content. 
My hope is that I will be able show people what I mean by "don't underestimate the power of social networking", through the Queen of Social Network Marketing project. I believe that social networks are very useful tool for branding and my hope is to demonstrate that through this project.
