#8 Evaluate and reevaluate on a regular basis

One of the most useful things I learned this year was to evaluate and reevaluate on a regular basis. We can miss learning and improvement opportunities if we don’t first take the time to evaluate where we are with our blogs. An initial evaluation is not enough though. I have found that if I take a sheet of paper and write a “purpose statement” for my blogs on a regular basis I find focus and sometimes new ideas for improvement. I also take time to evaluation income sources for each blog. I ask myself ,”Is this working or do I need to find another income source?” This is also a good time to set goals for yourself.

I leave you with the definition of evaluate and reevaluate because sometimes it’s easier to understand the purpose by reading the definition.

Evaluate - to judge or determine the significance, worth, or quality of; assess.

Reevaluate - revise or renew one’s assessment
