I am not sure if it’s because people don’t get the idea of having a Cliq or if they are just not interested but I haven’t had one blog submit to it yet. I have only started my cliq this December 4th but thought I would have has at least one person join. From what I can see in the directory there are lots of lonely cliqs. I think the reason for this is because you can only join one Cliq per user name. Most people that are interested in a blog sharing network widget such as Cliq are looking to network in more than one place.
My first experience went like this. I discovered the site through the blog SEO 2.0 ,thought “oh how cool”, but then quickly disappointed when I found out I could only join one Cliq. Me, the Queen of Social Network Marketing, join only one Cliq? How absurd. Then I discovered through searching and searching through the site that I could in fact join more than one Cliq but I had to register a new user name for each. This mean I would have to create more than one user name which also created a problem for me because as the Queen of Social Network Marketing I need to keep my name (monawea) and photo the same on every network I join. I wasn’t happy with having to register more user names but I did any way because I really like the idea of this blog sharing widget. I decided that all my additional user names would have monawea with a number attached (ex. monawea-2).
Joining Cliq was something I was determined to do so the problem with only being able to join one click didn’t easily discourage me. I wonder if others are becoming discouraged or confused about how to join a Cliq or multiple Cliqs. I have decided to take a more aggressive approach to marketing my Cliq and will be inviting people directly. First place I will start is the Make Money Online community at Bumpzee. I have also started a new Cliq for those interested in Social Media.
Currently I have four Cliqs - Make Money Online, Women Blogger Group, Personal Finance Blogs and Social Media. Feel free to join any Cliq that apply to your blog.
