Affiliate Marketing - Can You Really Become A Successful Affiliate Marketer?

The first time I heard of affiliate marketing I was amazed and excited. The idea of becoming a online promoter for established companies and their product without having to pay any fees but getting paid to direct traffic and/or purchasers was a new idea to me. I was so jazzed about the idea and got involved right away. Little did I know that affiliate marketing involved much more than putting a few links on my website.

The idea of affiliate marketing is attractive to a lot of people which is why so many are joining affiliate third parties like Commision Junction and LinkShare. It’s unfortunate however that most people will not earn a cent with affiliate marketing. There are those that are very successful with affiliate marketing but it takes knowledge and strategy.

I was fortunate enough to find probably one of the best e-books on the subject of affiliate marketing. The e-book, High Performance Affiliate Marketing written by Jeremy Palmer was one of the most valuable pieces of literature I have ever read. At the time I read the book I had already done some of my own online research and knew about half of what was included in the book. The fact that I already knew half of the information gave me confidence that the other half was just as reliable as the first.

I bet you want to know how to get your hands on this e-book. Well, you can’t. I visited Jeremy’s blog today and it seems that he posted that he would no longer be selling any more copies of the e-book. The blog post dated October 24th said that he did not want to acquire more members because he wants to give full attention to his existing members. You see, Jeremy Palmer not only sells e-books on his experience with affiliate marketing but he also allows his customers to become members of his full support and additional training through his forum.

It’s unfortunate that Jeremy no longer sells his e-book but I am thrilled that he is focusing on his existing customers. I am however not a real customer because I acquired the e-book for free through a special advertising promotion (i.e. sponsored review). So I am disappointed that I will not be able to purchase his updated e-book .

So I leave you today with not much to offer except for to say that you can become a successful affiliate marketer with the right knowledge. The best e-book available on how to become a successful affiliate marketer is High Performance Affiliate Marketing but is not available at this time. I would encourage you to subscribe to Jeremy’s blog for updates on when he will be offering the e-book once again.
