I am having fun with the Queen of Social Networking internet branding project. On week two of my branding project I was introduced to (I actually received and email from the CEO of the company my mistake, I was contacted by Allese Thomson but I did get a comment from the CEO today) another great network to be apart of called Wesabe. Wesabe is a personal finance social network which is perfect for me to join since I have a personal finance blog.
What is Wesabe? In their own words:
Wesabe is a community of people who share our experiences with our money so we can help each other make better financial decisions. We do this by aggregating and analyzing our community members’ personal financial data, and showing tips — recommendations to get the most from our money. These tips and recommendations come from the collective wisdom of our entire community. When one of us figures out how to make a great decision, we all learn.
As soon as you sign up with Wesabe, we show you ways to start saving money based on your actual spending. Existing software products do a good job of helping you figure out where your money went — as long as you keep them carefully maintained and updated every few days. They don’t, however, help you figure out how to get more from your money, and they certainly don’t help you get from a place of stress with your money to a place of control and better value.
I have not uploaded my accounts because I am a little confused on how that works and not so sure it’s something I want to do but I have found the site useful in other ways. This social network also allows you to create and join groups, share tips, and discuss financial issues.
I jumped right into to this network with a queen-like authority and created a few groups that I thought would be a great addition. I also joined groups that I thought I could contribute to.
Here are the groups I have created so far.

Mona,
Thanks for joining Wesabe! I like your groups - they will make a welcomed addition to the Wesabe community. I look forward to hearing your feedback and learning what we can do to make the service better.
Thanks for the welcome Jason. I am excited about being apart of this community. Thanks for stopping by
I didn’t know you also had a personal finance blog! I’ll be checking that out this week … =)
