I am finding that the more successful my blogs become the more emails I get from inquiries about advertising and information about new sites. It’s not as though I didn’t expect this to happen it’s just I didn’t realize how much time it would take to read and respond to the emails.
I end up spending a lot of time answering emails but I wouldn’t trade it. Receiving inquiries about advertising is encouraging even if they don’t all work out. I also think responding to emails from people and companies requesting a look into their site or new product is a great way to find content.
I have also received some very encouraging emails from readers. As always my first goal for my blogs is offer useful information so when a reader takes the time to send me an email about how I have helped them it really makes my day

If you are hoping to grow your blogs popularity be sure you take into consideration that you will be getting emails and will need to respond in a timely manner. This can be time consuming but it is important to make yourself available to readers and potential advertisers.
