The ever growing and changing web is spilling over into the mobile phone world making everyones life a little more easier, or so it may seem 
. Google and Yahoo recognize the importance to integrating mobile phone access with email accounts and just yesterday I wrote about how portals may be taking over social networking sites. So today I bring you Avot Media , a mobile phone software that allows you to watch videos of your choice.
Avot mv offers an easy to use user interface for video viewing on your mobile phone. You can search and fav the videos of your choosing from video sharing sites such as YouTube. All those entertaining and sometimes useful videos that YouTube offers can be accessed where ever you and your cell phone are located (provided you have internet access). Avot Media offers this software for free but you need to make sure you mobile phone plan because use could be charged for data downloading if you don’t have an unlimited data plan.
The features they offer with this software can be very useful to many mobile phone and PDA users. You can set up a myFavs page that allows you to create a playlist giving you quick access to your favorite videos. Avot mv allows you to watch an unlimited number of videos. Avot mv supports over 70 different mobile phones . They support Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC and Smartphone mobile phones and PDAs. You can also check out the Avot Blog for more updated information as well as see more screenshots of Avot mv in use. Avot is still in beta phase but I think it has a lot of potential. Unfortunately I don’t have a mobile phone supported by Avot mv so I can’t give you my thoughts on the ease of use of this product. However I do think that this company is keeping up with the changing web/mobile web and offering product that will be useful to many.
I like Avot Media’s motto for Avot mv - watch what you want. It kind of reminds of Burger King’s motto - Have it your way. Either way people like things the way the want them .
