My husband stumbled across Expert Village the other day and because of my thinking “in blog” condition I automatically thought to myself, “I should write about that site“. So here I am writing about Expert Village 
Expert Village offering a large database of how-to videos created by people with expert knowledge on about just about every topic. Expert Village is very similar to YouTube in that you can embed videos on your website (blog), rate the videos and view how many views the videos have received. Expert Village also allows you to read a transcript of the each video.
I have visited other expert type sites and Expert Village seems to be really offering experts. To become an expert you must fill out a short form and from what I can tell they probably do interviews. Each expert has description page where you can learn more about the expert and view their website if they have one. Unlike other videos sites Expert Village have their own filmmakers that are sent to film the experts that are hired.

How does Expert Village make money? Commercials of course ;). With most videos there is a sponsored commercial. Advertisements are also at the bottom of some video clips and Google ads can also be found throughout. Some of the most valuable videos (according to my husband) are the vehicular mechanics videos but there are videos on just about every subject. What to learn how to sky dive? Belly dance? Build a website? I am not exactly sure how and what the experts and filmmakers are paid but according to the expert promo video they pay very well.
I decided to include a video with this post. I found a video on how to add video to your website which I thought was appropriate for this post . By the way, I think this type of video content would be great as blog content.
