I was surfing the net (do people use that phrase anymore) and found a directory specifically for women bloggers. Blogs by Women has a directory of over 4,500 women bloggers that have all been hand approved. Like most directories there are many categories to search. Categories include everything from arts and entertainment to society and culture.
The directory also offers the Alexa rank and page rank in the listing as well as a description of your blog (provided by you). Submitting your blog to this directory is free but Blogs By Women does require you to include a chicklet on your blog offers a clicklet that is not required but encouraged. You can also purchase a featured blog option for $30 a month.
Blogs By Women does NOT require you to include a chicklet on your blog - it is optional.
