Hi Tori,
I am so glad you stopped and commented. I think you are off to a great start. Your reasons for blogging for income is almost identical to mine. I guess there are a lot of us in the same boat.
I started out with sponsored reviews but have now taken a different direction and might not do sponsored reviews any more. This is not to say that it's not the right choice for you. What I would do is keep you current blog as it is. It's very difficult to get affiliate sales and make money through Adsense on low traffic blogs but it can happen and since you need the money you might as well try it.
I would suggest you keep doing what you are doing on your blog but start planning for a new one. Think of things you are good at or have an interest in. The only topic I wouldn't suggest is the "make money online" topic because it has been over done. But if you have a skill, talent or are very interested in learning about something that would interest others as well then consider planning for a new venture.
The blog you have now will meet the immediate need of generating income but you want to plan for bigger and better income opportunities. This is done best with focussed niche blogs that meet a need.
Like I said you off to a great start. I started exactly the same way over a year ago and now I am running 4 content rich blogs (will be launching at least 2 more in 2008)that generate an income but also that I am very proud of.

I'm feeling a bit bad about my blog now because, with the addition of payperpost just this week, I now have categories 1, 2, and 4 all on one site. Is that bad? I'm working to make my content richer with time since I'm new to the whole blogsphere. What do you think? Should I cut back on one of those categories? *Sigh*
