I was visiting Daily Blog Tips yesterday and was introduced to a new idea that I thought would be great for iwebis. I have been wanting to do reviews of different blogs that I have found to be very useful but didn’t know how to go about it until I saw what Daniel and Stephen were doing on Daily Blog Tips.
BlogRoll Friday will feature a new blog every week that I think my readers should know about. I have also decided to include an actual blogroll with these featured sites that will be located in the sidebar. The BlogRoll Friday reviews will be short and sweet and include a screenshot of the blog. BlogRoll Friday blogs will be brand new blogs that deserve some recognition as well as established blogs that you should be aware of.
Sticking to the theme of ‘Following the Changing Web’ I will be including blogs that are keeping up with the changes in blog design, content, plugins and social networking.
So to start the BlogRoll Friday off I will be doing a quick review of the one who introduced me to this idea, Daily Blog Tips.
There are just some blogs that catch my eye. These blogs have a number of features that impress me. It’s a combination of blog design, blog content and ease of navigation that make these blogs ‘bookmark worthy’. Daily Blog Tips is one of those sites that caught my eye as soon as I started reading. Daily Blog Tips first started in November of 2006. Only six months later and the site has a PR5 and a Alexa of 15,229. The success of a blog has most to do with quality content but the clean design and easy navigation have no doubt helped as well. Daily Blog Tips has content that is worth reading on a daily basis.
