I like the new system, which seems to provide a genuine ranking.

but one thing I noticed was how links from stumbleupon.com blogs do not seem to be counted. Such was the case with my blogspot.com blog.

so I decided to experiment by pinging the stumbleupon.com blogs that reviewed my blogspot.com blog. rpc.technorati.com

Thanks for summarising the changes. I noticed the Authority rank on my Technorati page, but hadn't had chance to read into it...

Now it makes sense,

It's very interesting to me that they made this change. It seems to be like they don't want people to see the benefit of joining link trains, which obviously game the system.
