I think it’s important for blogs to make it a point to reward their readers. This is why I have created iwebis Reader Rewards. Not only will iwebis allow all comments with links to be followed (as opposed to nofollow tag that most blogs have), iwebis will also have a top commentators, recent comments, and recent trackbacks listed on the sidebar. But wait, there is more! If you are a MyBlogLog user be sure you are logged into your account because I have placed iwebis MyBlogLog widget in the header. My hope is that with the MyBlogLog widget in the header this will give my readers better visibility for themselves as well as giving a face to the ever growing blogosphere.
Overview of Reader Rewards:
- All comments will have link value
- Top commentators will be listed in sidebar
- Recent commentators will be listed in the sidebar
- Recent trackbacks will be listed in the sidebar
- MyBlogLog users visible in iwebis header
- Regular Contributors will be added to the iwebis FavRoll
- Future Rewards Not Listed Yet
**These rewards are for legitimate contributors. If there are spammy comments or trackbacks they will be deleted. MyBlogLog users that have offensive pictures (adult or hate inspired pictures) risk the possibility of being banned from appearing in the MyBlogLog widget.
Update: Due to the recent controversy about Technorati Favorites exchange I decided to opt out of the exchange. The reason more has to do with the fact that this is a brand new blog and I don’t want to start off on the wrong foot. I also feel that gaining natural blog popularity would be a better way to go.
